Ceramic Crowns

A crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that surrounds the entire tooth to restore its morphology, size and appearance when there is not enough tooth structure remaining.

A ceramic (CEREC) crown is made from ceramic and no other material. These are the most aesthetic looking crowns. Unlike the traditional porcelain fused to metal crown, which has the unattractive black line of the metal on the gum line, ceramic crowns are very natural looking, mimicking natural tooth appearance.

There is also less tooth prep needed for a ceramic crown which means less crown material and therefore a lighter crown.
