CEREC

CEREC, also known as CEramic REConstruction, is the technological marvel that can fabricate high strength, high aesthetic restorations in a matter of minutes. Our CEREC Omnicam is used to take a digital impression, which then creates a 3D model of your teeth and mouth. The restoration is then designed on the CEREC acquisition unit and then sent via wifi to the in-office milling unit which fabricates your new tooth/restoration while you wait!

With CEREC, we use strong, tooth-coloured ceramic materials to restore your teeth to their natural strength, beauty, and function. These materials closely match the composition of natural tooth structure.

With CEREC, you as the patient are in absolute comfort; there is no unpleasant putty impression material in your mouth, no need for a temporary crown (which could fall out before the second appointment) and no need for a second visit and injection, as everything is done in the first visit!

At Lakeview Dental Studio, we use our CEREC unit for fabricating crowns, veneers and large fillings, each taking a maximum time of 20 minutes to fabricate.
